Interest Groups at Minehead & District u3a
Minehead & District u3a have a wide variety of special interest groups to suit all tastes. From Art to History: Birdwatching to Luncheon Club and Scrabble to Walking Cricket you will sure to find something.
If you are unable to find what you want you can always propose a new group of your own. For further information please contact our Groups Secretary Anne Strik by email GroupSec.mdu3a@gmail.com
IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE
Minehead & District u3a is a self-help learning organization for people who are no longer in full time employment. Vulnerable adults who require assistance for their needs and wish to attend any u3a meetings and/or Interest Groups must be accompanied by an adult carer of their choice who is capable of assisting them with their needs, thereby ensuring their safety, comfort and well-being.
Minehead & District u3a is not a service provider, therefore whilst reasonable adjustments will be made to ensure that individuals can participate and can attend with carers to support their needs, there will be certain needs that the Minehead & District u3a will not be able to accommodate due to the level of care that an individual may need. A carer accompanying a vulnerable adult to meetings does not have to be a Minehead & District u3a member and will not be charged for attending Minehead & District u3a meetings.
