Our newly created Shakespeare Appreciation group is enjoying reading A Midsummer Nights Dream as our first play.  We’re taking it slowly, a scene at a time, and after reading it at home we meet up to read it through out loud, taking parts and then deciding what it all means!  We also look at a Sonnet each meeting.  None of us are ‘scholars’ we all just enjoy discovering more about the ‘Bard’ and the way his mind worked, and how the language of his day has changed.  It’s pretty informal and more fun than it might sound, and if one or two people wanted to join us they’d be very welcome.  If there were lots of interested parties, we’d probably split into two groups, which would be exciting!  so if you’re interested, please contact Nancy.
