Nature Amblers

The love of searching for nature in all of its forms.  We spend all our time looking at the nature around us and right under our feet. The distance is not important and often we only amble a short way.  We are not a walking group. We look at wildflowers, grasses, trees, mosses, lichen, fungi, insects and animals.  Identification is made in several ways by using the expertise of our members, referring to small reference books we take with us and various phone apps. 

Generally we amble locally: Horner Wood, Dunster Beach, Watchet, North Hill, Porlock and Great Wood, for example.

We welcome ideas from everyone of where to amble in the amazing area in which we live.  We keep a list to record everything we see on each amble.
